Job Requirements
- flexible with hours to work retail schedule including evenings and weekends
- ability to use computerized Point of Sale system
- willingness to promote and process credit card applications
- non-exempt employment status with commission
- commitment to honesty integrity and reliability
- ability to stand and work during retail hours
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Qualifications
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- motivation to create good shopping experiences and build customer loyalty
- experience in electronics retail preferred but not required
- basic computer skills for use of Point of Sale system
- strong communication skills
Job Duties
- help customers select small traffic merchandise by explaining features and benefits of each product including portable electronics small appliances tablets video games consoles and accessories
- enter orders in computerized Point of Sale system and follow up on open orders
- promote P.C. Richard & Son credit card and process applications
- sell extended service protection plans on selected merchandise
- create positive shopping experiences and build customer loyalty
