The primary focus of the position is to ensure the hotel’s premises are kept clean, orderly, and inviting through routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will perform a variety of responsibilities including outdoor and indoor cleaning duties to maintain hygiene and aesthetic standards. This includes daily sweeping and hosing down of patio areas, tidying sand and seating areas around the fire pits, washing windows, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming the ballroom, dusting surfaces including walls and the bar front, cleaning floorboards and air vents, and restocking cleaning stations. The role also involves engaging with guests and colleagues in a positive and hospitable manner which reflects the hotel’s dedication to excellent service.

Attention to detail is crucial in this job as the cleanliness and overall environment directly impact the guest experience and the hotel’s reputation. The role requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, effectively manage time, and adhere to health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
