The Restroom Attendant / Porter role at TC Restaurants is vital to maintaining the clean and efficient operation of the company’s venues. This position primarily involves keeping restrooms and customer-access areas well stocked, sanitized, and orderly to ensure a pleasant guest experience. Restroom Attendants are responsible for monitoring supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels, replenishing them as necessary to avoid shortages. The role demands someone who can handle multiple responsibilities with a proactive, team-based mindset. Porters must be able to take direction from management while demonstrating an eagerness to learn new tasks. The ability to perform physical duties such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment, and removing debris is essential. Moreover, attention to detail in monitoring the condition of maintenance supplies and reporting any facility repair issues is critical to the position. Porters play an integral part in guest satisfaction by ensuring that all dining and restroom areas are clean, safe, and inviting at all times.
Candidates can expect to work varied shifts, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a typical schedule exceeding 30 hours per week and occasional overtime approved by management. This position involves exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments and requires the ability to work in different weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures. Physical stamina is also important, as the job involves standing, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. A professional appearance adhering to company standards and the ability to maintain good communication skills with guests and team members are fundamental elements of success in this role.
Overall, joining TC Restaurants as a Restroom Attendant/Porter offers a promising opportunity for individuals seeking employment in the hospitality industry. Employees gain valuable experience working in a reputable and diverse restaurant group known for iconic Nashville venues, while contributing significantly to maintaining high operational standards and excellent guest experiences in a vibrant atmosphere.
