The Restaurant Zone Manager role at Raising Cane's is a dynamic management position focused on supporting the Restaurant Leader with the day-to-day operations of a designated restaurant zone. This position is critical to maintaining the high standards for which Raising Cane's is known and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The Zone Manager oversees all operational aspects within their zone during their shift, ensuring adherence to company policies, health and safety standards, and the outstanding customer service that defines the Raising Cane's brand. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate crewmembers, enforce operational procedures, and handle administrative tasks efficiently. The work environment is fast-paced and demands physical stamina, as it includes extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and bending within both indoor and outdoor settings.

Responsibilities include managing the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant facility, authorizing manager-level decisions such as employee discounts and promotions, using designated tools and documentation to monitor and improve operations, and supporting the crew recognition and reward programs to boost morale. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
  • Able to travel as needed for work-related functions and training
  • Must complete all required Raising Cane's company training programs
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven, flexible and highly energetic
  • 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience or advanced crew experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience, or Raising Cane's advanced crew experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-driven, flexible and highly energetic
  • Able to work effectively independently and collaboratively

Job Duties

  • Ensure operations meet Raising Cane's standards in one restaurant zone during a shift
  • Enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
  • Manage assigned zone according to Raising Cane's operations and safety standards
  • Use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • Direct crewmembers during a shift
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Support execution of reward and recognition program for crewmembers
  • Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval
  • Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and facility maintenance
  • Complete other duties as assigned
