As a Restaurant Zone Manager at Raising Cane's, you play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operational functions of one restaurant zone, ensuring that every aspect meets the brand's high standards of quality and service. This leadership position involves managing the physical and operational environment of the restaurant, including overseeing staff, maintaining health and safety standards, and delivering outstanding customer service all while upholding the company’s core cultural values. The role requires physical engagement such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending in a fast-paced kitchen setting, alongside both indoor and outdoor tasks under varying temperature conditions. Working with food products, allergens, commercial cleaning agents, and industrial equipment necessitates strict adherence to safety protocols and personal protective equipment.

In this role, the Restaurant Zone Manager ensures every shift runs smoothly by enforcing Raising Cane's policies and operational guidelines. The position demands strong multitasking capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate team members effectively. You will be responsible for directing crewmembers during shifts, managing performance, and fostering an environment of recognition through reward programs. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience, or Raising Cane's advanced crew experience
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
  • Must complete all required Raising Cane's company training programs
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
  • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
  • Able to recognize problems, set goals, execute and convert plans into action to solve problems

Job Duties

  • Ensures operations meet Raising Cane's standards in one restaurant zone during a shift
  • Enforces Raising Cane's policies and standards
  • Manages assigned zone according to Raising Cane's operations and safety standards
  • Uses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
  • Directs crewmembers during a shift
  • Provides exemplary customer service
  • Supports execution of reward and recognition program for the crewmembers in the restaurant
  • Authorizes employee functions requiring manager approval
  • Ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and ensures the facility is in good working order
  • Completes other duties as assigned
