The open position is for part-time Valet Attendants to work primarily Friday and/or Saturday nights from 5 pm to approximately 12 am at a restaurant in the Worcester area. This role is ideal for college students attending classes nearby during the fall semester, parents aiming to supplement their full-time income, or anyone seeking flexible evening work. Valet Attendants are expected to be dependable, possess excellent customer service skills, and be capable of working shifts in both Worcester and Sturbridge locations. Other shifts are also available, allowing flexibility to fit various schedules.
Valet Attendants at VPA typically earn between $20 and $30 per hour or more, combining base pay and tips, with weekly payroll options available through check, direct deposit, or pay card. Attendants act as the first point of contact for guests, greeting customers warmly, assisting them with their vehicles, and representing the establishment with professionalism and courtesy. The job requires standing for long periods, running frequently between the parking area and the station, and efficiently handling multiple vehicle handlings daily.
Applicants must have their own transportation, a valid Class D driver’s license held for at least one year, and an acceptable driving record. The ability to communicate fluently in English and provide excellent customer service is essential. This physically demanding role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires employees to maintain a neat appearance and positive attitude.
