Job Description

Valet Park of America (VPA) is a renowned provider of professional valet services, operating across numerous locations with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and employee growth. Known for its commitment to quality and service excellence, VPA offers upscale valet solutions for a variety of venues including restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and event spaces. With continuous growth despite challenging economic conditions, the company strives to maintain a positive and supportive work environment for its employees while meeting the demands of its diverse clientele. The company culture fosters inclusivity, professional development, and community involvement, making it a preferred employer in the valet service industry. VPA promotes from within, ensuring that employees have opportunities to progress into management roles and further their careers within the company.

Valet Park of America is currently seeking both full-time and part-time Valet Attendants in the Worcester area, specifically for shifts primarily on Friday and/or Saturday nights from approximately 5 pm to 12 am. Additional hours may be available at other locations depending on availability and preference. This position is an excellent opportunity for college students, parents, or individuals looking to supplement their full-time income with evening or weekend work. Valet Attendants at VPA typically earn between $20 and $30 per hour or more, combining base pay and tips, with pay schedules being weekly through check, direct deposit, or pay card. Tips are earned nightly, providing additional earning potential.

The role of a Valet Attendant at VPA involves being the visible face of the company at various establishments, primarily restaurants in this case, welcoming and assisting customers while professionally parking and retrieving their vehicles. This job requires reliable, courteous, and attentive individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with significant customer interaction. Valet Attendants must be able to efficiently manage multiple tasks, including running between vehicles and the station, safely operating a motor vehicle, and maintaining effective communication with both customers and team members.

Working as a Valet Attendant with VPA demands physical stamina and responsiveness; attendants often stand for the entire shift, run to retrieve vehicles multiple times a day, and assist customers with lifting items such as wheelchairs, strollers, bags, or gifts in and out of their vehicles. The job also involves working outdoors throughout the shift, regardless of weather conditions — be it heat, cold, or precipitation — which requires adaptability and commitment to maintaining high service quality regardless of the elements.

Candidates must possess a valid Class D driver’s license held for at least one year, a clean driving record approved by the employer, and be fluent in English to ensure clear customer communication. Additionally, applicants must be over 18 years of age due to legal restrictions related to operating vehicles. VPA also requires all employees to undergo a criminal background check. The company places a strong emphasis on a neat appearance and a positive attitude, essential for providing excellent customer service and maintaining the company’s reputable image.

Valet Park of America fosters a strong community among its staff, offering various benefits such as company trips to sporting events or picnics, multiple incentive programs, and newsletters to keep employees informed and engaged. Scholarship opportunities are also available, supporting employees and their families. The company values veterans and active-duty military personnel and encourages them to apply, respecting their service and dedication.

In summary, working as a Valet Attendant at Valet Park of America in Worcester provides a stable, rewarding employment opportunity with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a supportive work culture. Employees will gain valuable experience in customer service, the opportunity for career advancement, and the satisfaction of offering exceptional service to customers in a dynamic and growing company.
