We are currently seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Restaurant Technology Manager (Operations Specialist) to join our team. This full-time role is vital to the organization as it serves as the primary technical resource for multiple restaurant locations. The successful candidate will manage and support the restaurant’s technology systems and operational processes to ensure smooth, efficient performance across the organization. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to POS systems, self-order kiosks, digital menu boards, drive-thru technology, mobile payment platforms, delivery integration systems, and network infrastructure.

In addition to technical support, this role will coordinate with vendors for service and repairs, oversee equipment installation and maintenance, assist with restaurant openings and remodels, and support compliance with technology standards and security protocols. A key part of the position involves training restaurant management and crew members on technology systems and best practices, contributing to ongoing professional development. The Restaurant Technology Manager will also lead and coordinate technology-related projects, working closely with suppliers, contractors, and McDonald's corporate support teams to ensure timely and successful implementation.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in technical support or IT within the restaurant or a related industry. A strong troubleshooting mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential for success in this role. The position requires the ability to travel between restaurant locations and must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of technical support, IT, restaurant technology, or related experience
  • valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or related field preferred

  • experience with networking, routers, switches, and wireless systems
  • knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications

Job Duties

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to point-of-sale systems
  • troubleshoot and support self-order kiosks
