Job Description

Mendocino Farms is an innovative fast-casual restaurant brand known for its commitment to providing fresh, thoughtfully prepared food combined with an exceptional dining experience. Founded in 2005, Mendocino Farms has grown steadily, embracing a philosophy centered on happiness, quality ingredients, and community connection. With a menu that features sandwiches and salads crafted from fresh, high-quality ingredients, Mendocino Farms offers not just meals but memorable culinary adventures for every guest. The company culture prioritizes happiness, positive energy, and genuine hospitality, making it an exciting place to work for individuals passionate about food and customer service.

Mendocino Farms is opening a brand new location at The Highlands, 3453 W. 32nd Avenue, Denver, CO 80211. This new restaurant is currently in the final stages of preparation and will soon welcome guests eager to experience the vibrant menu and welcoming atmosphere that the brand is known for. To support the opening and future operations, the company is hiring Team Members for both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) roles. These positions include Line Cook, Prep Cook, Host, Cashier, and Food Runner. The starting pay for these part-time positions is competitive, at $19.29 per hour plus tips, with all team members participating in a tip pool. The company offers a flexible work schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays, providing opportunities for growth into full-time roles.

The available positions require team members who are enthusiastic, hospitable, and eager to contribute to a positive guest experience. BOH team members will cross-train across multiple kitchen stations, such as prep, dish, garnish, and grill, to prepare high-quality sandwiches and salads. FOH team members will engage with guests by taking orders, guiding menu choices, running food, bussing tables, and managing multiple service stations including cashier, host, expo, and floor/runner duties. Mendocino Farms emphasizes that the job is more than just selling food; it is about selling happiness and creating lasting connections with guests.

Mendocino Farms invests in its team members by offering a range of benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance (for eligible members), 401(k) matching, paid sick leave, and employee assistance programs. Further perks include parking and transit reimbursement, discounted tickets through Tickets at Work, pet insurance, gym memberships, and free meals during every shift. Additionally, there are learning opportunities such as English at Work classes and a clear path for career growth and development. This supportive environment aims to foster both personal and professional growth for every member of the Mendocino Farms family.

This opportunity is perfect for individuals who have a great personality, a hospitable attitude, and a genuine desire to help people. Whether you have prior experience in customer service, restaurant roles, or culinary positions, or are entirely new to the field, Mendocino Farms provides the training and support needed for success. With a welcoming culture that celebrates passion, positivity, and teamwork, this is an excellent place to start or continue your career in the restaurant industry. Join Mendocino Farms and become part of a company that truly sells happiness through every sandwich and salad served!
