Job Description
Mendocino Farms is a highly regarded, innovative restaurant company that was founded in 2005 with a commitment to serving exceptional food and creating memorable customer experiences. Known for its fresh and high-quality ingredients, Mendocino Farms prides itself on offering an approachably adventurous menu that bridges the gap between culinary creativity and comfort food. The company’s mission goes beyond simply serving sandwiches and salads – it is dedicated to selling HAPPY, which reflects its unique emphasis on hospitality, guest satisfaction, and community connection. Mendocino Farms has built a loyal customer base and a positive workplace culture by embedding happiness into everything it does, from the food it prepares to the way it treats its team members and guests. Whether welcoming back longtime friends or connecting with new guests, Mendocino Farms’ team is passionate about making every visit special and joyful.
Currently, Mendocino Farms is hiring Front of House Team Members to join their dynamic restaurant environment. These team members are essential in creating a friendly and efficient dining experience, acting as the first point of contact for guests and supporting various front-of-house operations. The role offers competitive pay, with team members earning up to $17 per hour including tips. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with flexible scheduling options to accommodate nights, weekends, and holidays. Front of House Team Members at Mendocino Farms engage in a range of activities, including assisting with taking orders, guiding guests through the menu, running food, bussing tables, and plating food. Importantly, this position allows team members to work in multiple stations such as cashier, host, expo, and floor/runner, providing a diverse and engaging workday.
Mendocino Farms values personality, hospitality, and an overwhelming desire to help people. The company fosters a positive environment where team members can thrive and grow, underlined by a clear path for career advancement and personal development. The company's culture is built on the idea that each guest is either a friend they haven’t met yet or one they are delighted to welcome back. This role is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to be part of a compassionate team that prioritizes happiness in every interaction, both with coworkers and customers.
As a Mendocino Farms Front of House Team Member, employees benefit from an attractive package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance options for those who qualify. Additional perks include a 401(k) match program, paid sick leave, employee assistance programs, English at Work classes to improve language skills, and various reimbursements such as parking and transit. The job also offers unique benefits such as pet insurance, gym memberships, and free, delicious meals during every shift to ensure team members are fueled and satisfied. Mendocino Farms pays all team members bi-weekly and participates in a tip pool to ensure equitable tip distribution. This rewarding position with Mendocino Farms promises not only competitive pay but also a supportive, welcoming environment where every employee can feel valued and empowered to sell HAPPY every day.
