The company’s guiding values emphasize warmth, belonging, growth, and trust, ensuring that every team member contributes to a positive workplace culture and a memorable guest experience.

The Panera Retail Team Member Cashier position is a vital role within this dynamic environment. The cashier must be adaptable, maintaining a positive attitude through changing priorities and busy periods, while contributing to a team culture centered on cooperation and mutual respect.

Working as a cashier at Panera offers more than just a typical customer service experience—it’s an opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive company that values team member development. Employees receive competitive pay, starting in the range of $15.92 to $19.00 per hour, along with eligibility for team tips. Full-time employees are also provided with medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance options, as well as a 401(k) plan with company matching. Additional benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, flexible scheduling options, tuition discounts, career advancement, leadership development programs, and an employee assistance program.

Beyond tangible benefits, Panera emphasizes fun and meaningful engagement, encouraging team members to enjoy their work and celebrate successes together daily. The culture at Panera is intentionally crafted to support each individual’s success whether they aspire to leadership or simply enjoy a rewarding job where they can be themselves and feel supported. This makes the Retail Team Member Cashier position ideal for those seeking a friendly, fast-paced work environment where they can quickly learn, grow, and connect with others.

Overall, joining Panera as a Retail Team Member Cashier means becoming part of a company that truly values its employees as well as its guests, promoting a culture of kindness, respect, and shared success.
