The role of a Team Member at Papa John's is integral to maintaining the high standards that the company is known for. This non-exempt, hourly position involves performing workstation duties that ensure the preparation and delivery of quality products and services to customers. Team Members are responsible for making pizzas, preparing ingredients, taking orders, and providing outstanding customer service through positive and professional interactions both in person and over the phone. The position requires adherence to company standards including uniform and appearance guidelines as well as compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Team Members work collaboratively, supporting each other and contributing to a dynamic and fun work environment.

Team Members are expected to use the FOCUS system accurately for processing cash and credit card transactions and must demonstrate a commitment to safety by maintaining clean, organized, and secure workstations. Additionally, this role involves suggestive selling techniques to help increase sales and contribute to the overall success of the store. Flexibility, initiative, teamwork, and customer-focused thinking are key attributes for success in this role. Physical demands include standing for long periods, repetitive hand and foot use, bending, lifting, and working in various environmental conditions such as noisy settings and exposure to heat and kitchen equipment. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • ability to work long hours including nights, weekends and emergencies
  • comply with Papa John's uniform and appearance standards
  • ability to perform physical tasks including standing for prolonged periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, using hands repetitively
  • ability to work in noisy environments and near moving mechanical parts
  • ability to use FOCUS system for cash and credit transactions
  • ability to follow all safety and security standards
  • willingness to work as scheduled including unscheduled hours
