The role of the Team Member at Papa John's is a vital position responsible for performing assigned workstation duties to ensure the delivery of quality products and superior service to customers. This role adheres strictly to the company’s standards for uniform, appearance, and operations, as outlined in the Operations Manual, Cross-Training Guidebook, and Team Member Handbook, while complying with all relevant federal, state, and local laws. Team Members contribute to the overall success of the store by preparing ingredients, making pizza products, taking orders, processing transactions, and delivering quality customer service both in person and by phone. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, punctuality, and completing all closing duties including thorough cleaning of work areas.

Team Members are expected to exhibit a strong sense of urgency in their work and foster an atmosphere of energy, fun, and collaboration. They use the proprietary FOCUS system to manage orders and ensure accuracy in cash handling. Additionally, they support sales through suggestive selling techniques aimed at increasing order value. Maintaining clean, safe, and organized workstations not only protects the company’s assets but also promotes a secure environment for staff and customers alike.

The position demands physical stamina as team members will stand for extended periods and perform various movements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching. The work environment consists of exposure to temperature variations, noise, mechanical parts, and some chemical substances, requiring employees to maintain safety and awareness at all times. This hourly, non-exempt position includes shift work that covers nights, weekends, and potentially extends to emergency scheduling.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old to perform specific duties such as pizza loading, oven tending, pizza cutting, dough docking, and dishwashing. Job Requirements
