Job Description
Golden Corral is a well-established family buffet restaurant chain with nearly 500 company and franchise locations across the United States. Known for offering a wide variety of high-quality, affordable dining options in a welcoming atmosphere, Golden Corral strives to be the leader in family dining by making pleasurable eating affordable to every guest at every restaurant every day. The organization emphasizes a culture of camaraderie, respect, and inclusivity, valuing diversity among its employees, franchisees, guests, and suppliers. Each restaurant operates independently through franchisees, who make all hiring decisions and manage local operations. This approach allows Golden Corral to maintain a community-focused environment that caters to the needs and preferences of local neighborhoods.
The role available is for a Co-worker position at one of the independently owned franchise locations. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $16.66 to $18.00, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate both full-time and part-time employment. As a Co-worker, you will have opportunities to train and grow within the company through the FastTracks training program. This program allows you to begin by focusing on one specific skill position such as Baker, Buffet Attendant, Busser, Catering staff member, Guest Experience Attendant, Grill or Fry Cook, Hot Cook, Line Cook, Local Store Marketing Coordinator, Host/Cashier, Prep Person, ProStart Intern, Meat Cutter, Utility Person, or Server. Not all positions may be available at every location, and placement depends on the needs of the franchise.
Upon hiring, new employees undergo orientation and practice to become certified in their assigned skill position. After certification, there is an opportunity for cross-training in multiple positions, enhancing versatility and career advancement potential within the Golden Corral network. The environment is designed to foster teamwork and mutual support, making work rewarding beyond just compensation.
Employees enjoy a fun and friendly team environment with recognition programs aimed at achievement and advancement. Golden Corral provides structured training aimed at helping team members grow their skills and career paths. Flexible work schedules support work-life balance, and the pay scale reflects a commitment to offering competitive compensation.
Golden Corral welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. Since this position is with an independently owned franchise location, all application inquiries and employment decisions are handled directly by the franchisee. Interested candidates apply online and may be required to complete an additional role-specific questionnaire after the initial application submission.
Joining Golden Corral means becoming part of a trusted brand in family dining with a long history of serving communities and providing rewarding employment experiences. The combination of flexible work hours, career development programs, and a supportive team atmosphere makes this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a dynamic role in the restaurant industry where they can grow and contribute to a positive guest experience.
