Job Description
R and G Ventures, Inc. dba Golden Corral is a well-established franchise organization operating a family buffet restaurant chain with nearly 500 company and franchise locations spread across the United States. Golden Corral is dedicated to being a leader in family dining by making pleasurable dining affordable for every guest, at every restaurant, every day. This commitment is reflected in the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of Golden Corral restaurants, which focus on providing a diverse menu and exceptional customer service to families and individuals looking for a comfortable dining experience. Each Golden Corral location operates independently under franchise ownership, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, inclusion, and community engagement.
The available opportunities at Golden Corral include various co-worker roles such as Bakers, Buffet Attendants, Bussers, Catering staff, Guest Experience Attendants, Grill and Fry cooks, Hot Cooks, Line Cooks, Local Store Marketing Coordinators, Hosts/Cashiers, Prep Persons, ProStart Interns, Meat Cutters, Utility Persons, and Servers. These positions may vary by location, providing a wide range of employment opportunities for individuals with diverse skill sets and interests in the restaurant industry. Employees begin by training in one specific skill position and can earn certifications through a structured FastTracks training program that allows cross-training in other positions, enabling career growth and skill diversification within the restaurant.
Golden Corral values diversity and inclusion, ensuring that employees from all backgrounds feel respected and empowered in an inclusive team environment. This inclusive culture helps foster camaraderie and a supportive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed. Golden Corral also offers a variety of benefits designed to reward both part-time and full-time employees, including competitive pay, flexible schedules, a fun and friendly team environment, training programs geared towards advancement, and recognition for achievement. This comprehensive approach to employee support not only helps create a positive work environment but also enhances the overall guest experience by promoting staff engagement and motivation.
The hiring process involves submitting an online application, after which candidates may be invited to complete a role-specific questionnaire. It is important to note that all hiring decisions are made independently by the franchisee, not by Golden Corral Corporation. This means that applicants will communicate and finalize their employment terms directly with the individual franchise location. Golden Corral is an equal opportunity employer that considers all qualified applicants without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, or any other legally protected characteristic. By joining Golden Corral, employees become part of a longstanding tradition of quality family dining while enjoying a career path with growth potential and an inclusive workplace culture.
