Job Description

Sage Hospitality Group is a respected leader in the hospitality industry, known for delivering exceptional experiences through its diverse portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and resorts across the United States. The company is dedicated to enriching lives one experience at a time, combining a commitment to genuine service with a strong emphasis on community involvement. Sage Hospitality Group empowers its employees to be entrepreneurial, creative, and to take risks that lead to innovative approaches in hospitality. Joining this vibrant organization means becoming part of a culture that values personal and professional growth, where employees bring their authentic selves to work and make a positive impact every day.

The Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa, part of the Sage Hospitality Group, offers a unique Northern California experience located near world-famous wineries like Robert Mondavi Winery and Castello Di Amorosa. The hotel boasts comfortable accommodations with garden spaces, a luxurious resort-style pool and splash bar, and several lively restaurants that celebrate local ingredients and premium wine pairings. Guests enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with glowing fire pits and lush landscaping, perfect for unwinding after exploring Napa Valley. The hotel also features an expansive Napa conference center perfect for events such as weddings under towering Redwood trees.

The full-time Restaurant Supervisor role at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa is a dynamic position that requires a committed and experienced hospitality professional to assist the Restaurant Manager in all phases of restaurant operations. The supervisor ensures that staff delivers excellent guest service by monitoring and coaching servers, runners, and other restaurant associates. They are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, uniform appearance, and adherence to service protocols. This role involves supervising guest service directly, managing side-work duties, maintaining a balanced and secure cash bank, and overseeing daily communications and floor coverage.

The supervisor plays an integral part in staff training, including conducting menu classes and taste panels to keep the team knowledgeable and prepared. This position requires strong communication skills to relay important information between shifts and coordinate effectively with management about special events and guest volumes. Physical demands include the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

The offered salary ranges from USD 25.00 to USD 27.00 per hour, reflecting the value placed on experience and skills. This role provides comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, an employee assistance program, and attractive discounts on hotels and restaurants. Additionally, employees can participate in a referral bonus program up to $1,000 per referral, reinforcing the company’s investment in building a talented and engaged team. Overall, this position is an excellent opportunity for an independent and driven individual who thrives in hospitality and is eager to contribute to the exceptional guest experience at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa.
