This company is dedicated to providing exceptional guest service while maintaining strong sustainability standards, aligning with initiatives such as the EarthView program. The company values its employees and fosters a culture that believes in 'People Are Our Capability,' 'Hearts That Serve,' 'Only Excellence,' 'Stay Nimble,' and 'Own It.' Such values emphasize a commitment to high service quality, continuous improvement, and responsiveness to guest needs.
This role is designed for an individual to supervise restaurant operations comprehensively. The supervisor will ensure that all operations within the restaurant align with brand and hotel guest service standards as well as sustainability practices. The position involves leading a team through recruitment, training, coaching, and scheduling to guarantee that associates meet and exceed established expectations. Ensuring overall guest satisfaction is a top priority, requiring proactive problem-solving and customer complaint resolution related to food and beverage services.
Financial management responsibilities are integral to this role, including cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll activities, helping maintain accurate financial control. The supervisor will also forecast staffing, equipment, and supply needs based on menu specifications, ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and meets guest demands. Work schedules may vary and include holidays and weekends, requiring flexibility. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
Ideal candidates should have previous food and beverage experience or equivalent training, with a preference for supervisory experience and knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Micros systems. A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory, showing the company's openness to capable individuals with relevant industry experience.
