We are currently seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the food department, ensuring that the presentation and quality of food meet the company’s high standards. The Food Service Supervisor plays an integral role in supervising and supporting the staff by assisting in various tasks such as cooking, serving, and cash register operations. This position involves managing inventory by ordering disposable materials like cups and plates and maintaining an accurate and visible menu with up-to-date pricing for customer transparency.

In addition to operational duties, the Food Service Supervisor is expected to maintain hygiene standards among the personnel, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about the ingredients used in the meals, prices of products, and be proactive in verifying that the staff prepares each menu item correctly. The supervisor is also encouraged to contribute to menu development by suggesting new plates that could enhance the customer experience and boost sales.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • supervises the presentation of the food that is made
  • makes orders of disposable material such as cups and plates
  • helps with the activities of the department such as serving, cooking, and handling the register
  • responsible to know the ingredients that are used for a meal on the menu
  • verifies that co-workers prepare each plate from the menu when asked
  • responsible to know the price of each product on the menu
  • ensures the menu with new prices is posted visibly to the public
  • supervises the hygiene of department personnel
  • suggests new plates for sale
