The Store 2727051Q located at 3123 Murphy Rd, Eastover, North Carolina, is currently seeking a full-time Restaurant Assistant Manager who will play a pivotal role in supporting the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and leading the team to maintain operational standards that guarantee guest satisfaction. This position requires availability during days and evenings with shift schedules designed to accommodate the operational needs of the restaurant. The Restaurant Assistant Manager (RAM) assists in supervising staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards, managing cash control and inventory accuracy, and upholding a safe and clean environment.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for coaching and motivating team members, conducting interviews, delegating shift duties, and ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently in line with company policies. The candidate will also help with training, manage administrative paperwork such as inventory counts and sales records, and step in to perform managerial duties in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. The role requires someone who can lead by example, provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to a profitable restaurant operation.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the RAM is expected to embody the company values by fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and ownership. Physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods are part of the job, and the successful candidate will be comfortable working in various temperature conditions and handling kitchen equipment safely. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • provide excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner
  • coach and correct team members
  • conduct second interviews for team members and shift leads
  • maintain a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and general housekeeping
  • assign shift duties to team members and follow up to ensure completion
  • ensure all food items are prepared and served according to brand, company, and health regulations
  • coach team members on food preparation and production management
  • cascade relevant information to team members and assist with new product training
  • place campaign materials upon request
  • ensure product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
  • monitor and ensure accuracy of cash, sales, and inventory control records
  • complete end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts
  • communicate discrepancies to immediate supervisor
  • complete daily, weekly and end of period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders and other administrative duties in absence of RM
  • guarantee safe environment for team members and guests by following government laws and safety codes
  • complete reports on all incidents following 5-minute rule policy
  • partner with RM to ensure financial and operational metrics are met
