Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Proven leadership skills in managing culinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines and kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to mentor and develop kitchen staff
  • Basic math skills for financial and portion calculations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven ability to provide consistent support to the success of kitchen operations
  • Trust, honesty, integrity, and passion for customer satisfaction
  • Proven track record of achieving financial results
  • Passion for mentoring and development of others
  • Over 2 years of high-volume kitchen experience as a Sous Chef
  • One year certificate from college or technical school or six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, portions, percentages, and volume

Job Duties

  • Deliver financial, human resources, and operational growth such as kitchen cost goals and assigned budgets
  • Maintain strong safety and housekeeping standards in the kitchen
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and operating procedures
