We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our restaurant, as the Shift Manager will oversee all restaurant activities during their assigned shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming and serving guests, delegating tasks efficiently to the restaurant staff, and ensuring that our high standards of service and safety regulations are consistently upheld. The Restaurant Shift Manager will be a problem solver and team leader, capable of managing staff performance, resolving on-the-job challenges, and maintaining smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations. They will also be responsible for tracking daily operational costs and revenues and balancing the cash register at the end of each shift. This position involves interacting directly with suppliers and coordinating deliveries to ensure timely and accurate restocking of food products. Another core responsibility includes managing staff shifts to guarantee adequate coverage even when employees take time off. The Shift Manager will open or close the restaurant when assigned to the first or last shift, and they will communicate important pending tasks to the next Shift Manager to ensure continuity.
