The Shift Leader role at Whataburger is a dynamic position essential to the smooth operation of the restaurant. As a Shift Leader, you become the driving force that ensures every shift is executed with precision and enthusiasm. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • possess a high school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience
  • have open availability, including overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours
  • maintain dependable attendance
  • ability to stand up to 10 hours per shift
  • ability to lift up to 55 lbs
  • experience coaching or leading teams
  • possess or obtain ServSafe certification

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • possess a high school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience
  • have experience coaching or leading teams
  • strong customer service skills
  • effective communication skills
  • multitasking ability
  • possess ServSafe Food Certification or ability to obtain during training

Job Duties

  • Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • coach, train, and motivate Family Members, helping new hires and seasoned employees improve
  • support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and inventory processes
  • uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements
