The company offers flexible schedules, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and multiple opportunities for career development, making it an ideal workplace for those ready to grow and advance in the food service industry.

The Shift Leader role at Whataburger is a vital position designed to keep each shift running smoothly and efficiently. As a Shift Leader, you will be the spark that maintains operational excellence and drives the entire team toward success. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to sharpen your leadership capabilities, develop shift-management skills, and ensure a seamless operational foundation. This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills to foster teamwork and create a positive work environment. You will be instrumental in supporting goals related to food cost, labor cost, and sales performance while maintaining food safety and compliance requirements.

Whataburger values its leaders and offers competitive weekly pay with flexible work schedules covering day, night, evening, and overnight shifts. The company provides paid time off, a 401(k) match program, and competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Additionally, Whataburger offers short-term and long-term disability benefits, scholarship programs through the Whataburger Family Foundation for employees' dependents, and hardship grant assistance. The company supports education with free English language learning, no-cost college-level courses, and reduced-tuition degree pathways. Employees also enjoy discounted meals for themselves and a guest, wireless service discounts, computer and software discounts, gym memberships, awards and recognition programs, and a retirement celebration program. This wealth of benefits reflects Whataburger's commitment to the well-being and growth of its team members.

By joining Whataburger as a Shift Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead with heart, inspire your team during the busiest shifts, and turn challenges into opportunities for improvement. You will be the driving force behind a well-organized and energetic shift, helping to build a culture of accountability, communication, and teamwork. If you are ready to take the next big step in your leadership journey and grow alongside a company that values its people and their potential, Whataburger is the place to be.
