As a Shift Leader at Whataburger, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining smooth and efficient restaurant operations while exemplifying the company values of serving with heart, moving forward boldly, and winning as one team. Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • possess a high school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience
  • be able to meet business needs with open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and maintain dependable attendance
  • have ability to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs
  • possess experience coaching or leading teams
  • possess ServSafe Food Certification or ability to obtain during training

Job Duties

  • Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • coach, train, and motivate Family Members helping new hires ketchup quickly and seasoned pros turn up the heat
  • support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes
  • uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements
  • foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture
  • prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running like a well-oiled fryer
