This role is for a Shift Leader at Whataburger, a position that plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant during each shift. This role is based at the home restaurant with potential opportunities to assist at other locations within the Market area. The position requires hands-on leadership during busy periods as well as strategic oversight to keep daily operations running efficiently. Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience
- Have open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours
- Maintain dependable attendance
- Ability to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs
- Experience coaching or leading teams
- Possess ServSafe Food Certification or ability to obtain and pass during training
