Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, Whataburger has grown to become a staple in the fast-food industry with its made-to-order burgers and a passion for great food and great experiences. This company prides itself on fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture that values integrity, teamwork, and personal growth. Whataburger's dedication to its employees is evident in its numerous benefits, training programs, and opportunities for advancement, positioning it as not just a workplace but a family where each individual is empowered to succeed and make a meaningful impact. The company emphasizes bold leadership, operational excellence, and a customer-focused approach that resonates throughout its team and operations.

The Shift Leader role at Whataburger is essential in maintaining the high standards the brand is known for by ensuring smooth restaurant operations during shifts. As a Shift Leader, you will be the catalyst for maintaining quality, service, and cleanliness standards, directly influencing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The role requires a hands-on approach, particularly during busy periods, where inspiring teamwork, fostering communication, and driving accountability are key. With flexible scheduling options including day, night, evening, and overnight shifts, this role offers adaptability alongside competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Whataburger supports career development paths with clear opportunities to progress to higher leadership positions, including Operating Partner roles that can reach six-figure incomes. The Shift Leader not only contributes to the success of the restaurant but also embodies the Whataburger spirit by moving forward boldly and turning challenges into opportunities while being supported by a robust network of training, tuition assistance, and employee recognition programs.
