The role of a Shift Leader at Zaxbys is integral to the smooth operation of the restaurant. This position involves overseeing the people, processes, and products necessary to execute a successful shift. Shift Leaders set daily goals, assign tasks to team members, and ensure all company processes and standards are consistently followed. In this leadership capacity, individuals act as mentors and coaches to team members, helping them meet performance expectations and maintaining a positive team atmosphere. They prioritize both guest satisfaction and team member experiences by resolving any concerns with professionalism and respect. Shift Leaders uphold operational standards related to food safety, product quality, cleanliness, and overall restaurant compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Additionally, they are responsible for managing inventory, food production quality, and cash handling procedures during their shifts. The position offers a pay range of $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, with paid training and potential advancement opportunities. available to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 40 hours per week
ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
successful completion of background check
demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
leadership experience preferred

Job Duties

Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan
Food Safety Certification
any additional training required by Zax LLC
create a culture of high-performance and train and coach team members to meet all company standards
mentor, coach and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to your General Manager
prioritize the guest and team member experience and resolve complaints and concerns in friendly and respectful manner
create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example
communicate shift goals and motivate team members to meet goals and perform to their highest ability level
delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift
maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxbys Franchising LLC and Zax LLC guidelines, policies, and procedures
