Job Description
The hiring establishment is a dynamic venue providing a range of hospitality services including food and beverage service at a golf course and associated event settings. This organization operates in the hospitality industry, specifically focusing on creating enjoyable and seamless experiences for patrons through a variety of roles such as beverage cart operation, event serving, and restaurant service. The company offers seasonal employment opportunities, with the position status currently open for applications and will remain so until suitable candidates are found. The job postings indicate that the employment is contingent on the season, which is typical for establishments centered around recreational and event-driven activities such as those at golf courses.
This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about customer service, enjoy interacting with guests, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The position encompasses several functions including operating a motorized beverage cart on the golf course, serving guests during events, and handling customer orders and service in a restaurant setting associated with the venue. Compensation ranges from $9.40 to $16.39 per hour depending on the specific role, with additional tips provided, reflecting the service-oriented nature of the work. Given the diversity of duties—from selling food and beverages on the golf course while adhering to state liquor laws, to setting up and dismantling event spaces and providing attentive service in a restaurant—this job demands versatility and dedication.
Applicants must be prepared to maintain high standards of service and uphold the venue’s reputation by following proper etiquette, laws, and internal standards related to food and beverage service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage inventory and cleanliness standards effectively. Working in multiple service areas allows employees to gain comprehensive experience in hospitality and customer interaction, making this an excellent opportunity for those seeking to build a career in the hospitality industry or those looking for a flexible seasonal job with valuable skill development.
