- Ability to communicate effectively with guests

- Ability to operate point-of-sale system
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical capability to lift trays up to 25 pounds
Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make recommendations guests will enjoy
- Answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them in point-of-sale system
- Deliver food and beverages timely
- Perform side work at shift start and end
- Maintain clean service areas
- Monitor guests' dining experience and ensure satisfaction
- Prepare final bill, accept payment and process transactions
- Assist fellow servers and busperson as needed
- Thank guests and invite them to return
- Fill in as needed for smooth restaurant operations
