Neiman Marcus is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Server to join its restaurant team located in Fort Worth, Texas. The Server will be responsible for serving assigned areas of the dining room, delivering detailed information about menu items, and ensuring all guest interactions are positive and memorable. Participation in daily pre-shift meetings, adherence to established accounting procedures using POS systems, and the maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene standards are integral parts of the role. The Server must also be physically capable of performing duties involving lifting and moving restaurant equipment. With a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.07 to $27.11 depending on market factors, experience, and qualifications, this role also offers eligibility for bonuses and long-term incentive compensation awards. Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- prior experience in food and beverage service
- ability to stand and move throughout shift
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
- excellent interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties
- Serve assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner
- utilize thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology, to provide detailed information to customers about menu items
- leverage knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, including technical and service procedures
- interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties at the same time
- participate in daily pre-shift meetings
- adhere to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including authorized methods of payment and POS system usage
- execute pre-shift, post-shift, and daily duties as assigned
- fulfill duties involving lifting objects such as tables, chairs, and highchairs
- clean and maintain restaurant and workstation
- maintain highest level of hygiene standards including clean uniform and professionally styled appearance
- coordinate scheduling and time-off with management
