The Host position at the Denver Marriott Tech Center plays a critical role in delivering wonderful hospitality through prompt and courteous food service in the hotel’s restaurant. This role requires the ability to work weekends and holidays, ensuring full coverage and consistent guest experience during peak times. The host is responsible for greeting guests, taking food and drink orders, serving orders, and accommodating special requests with utmost attention to service standards. The position demands a proactive approach to customer service, including memorizing menu items, making recommendations, and maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor at all times. Hosts also handle restocking and cleaning duties, perform opening and closing side work, and uphold cleanliness standards to meet state and local health requirements.

Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous experience in similar position of 3 months or longer
- Must have basic knowledge of customer service principles
- Must know standard cash-handling procedures
- Must be fluent in oral and written English
- Must have vision ability to see detailed guest checks and instructions
- Must have manual coordination to handle food and beverages
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have mobility to travel up to 300 feet regularly
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
- Must have moderate hearing and excellent vision
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be organized and attentive to detail
- Must be able to use tact and understanding when handling customer service problems
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
