Job Requirements
- Must obtain an accredited food handler certification within 60 days as per State guidelines
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months to one year of related experience preferred
- Excellent customer service attitude
- Ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks

Job Duties
- Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events
- Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to sit
- Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and efficiently
- Guarantee the accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation
- Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch
- Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner
- Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously
- Assist with setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking inventory
- Remove all walkers from the dining room to ensure safety and return them immediately after meals
- Make each resident and guest feel special, showing genuine pleasure in serving them
- Understand the menu fully and be able to explain the selections to residents and guests
- Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene
- Attend all required in-service training sessions
- Be an active member of the community's emergency response team
- Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies
- Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm
