Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
1+ years of restaurant and hospitality experience preferred
Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
Must follow all safety and security procedures
Must comply with company policies and procedures
Ability to work weekends or holidays as needed
Must be able to handle stressful and high-pressure situations
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to use POS/Micros system
Proficient in basic arithmetic and financial information
Must maintain proper personal appearance and uniform
Must be a team player able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to travel occasionally for hotel familiarization and training
Must be able to work primarily Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with flexibility for hotel business hours

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
College degree preferred
1+ years of previous restaurant and hospitality experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred
Working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
Strong customer service and sales skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Energetic and outgoing personality
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficient typing speed (45 wpm) and data input skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Job Duties

Provide attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to guests
Report all guest issues and complaints to management promptly
Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
Sweep, mop, and vacuum restaurant and hallway floors to maintain cleanliness
Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation
Follow all state liquor laws and hotel policies regarding beverage service
Use POS/Micros system to carry out cashiering functions and process guest checks
