The role of Food and Beverage Server at HHM is an integral position focused on delivering courteous and friendly service to guests, ensuring their needs are met in alignment with established brand and hotel guest service standards. The role requires handling food and beverage orders efficiently using point of service systems, maintaining cleanliness and readiness of dining areas, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Additionally, this role supports sustainability practices and adheres to strict safety standards including MSDS and OSHA guidelines. Servers are expected to be adaptable, stepping into various food and beverage functions such as bartending or bussing during peak periods or shortages in staffing. This position offers a clear growth path leading to supervisory and management roles, starting from Restaurant Supervisor, Banquet Server, Captain, to Restaurant or Banquet Manager. The Food and Beverage Server role not only focuses on customer interaction but also encourages awareness of guest satisfaction scores, thereby directly contributing to the improvement of departmental and overall guest satisfaction. Candidates with prior food and beverage experience, knowledge of POS systems, and preferably TIPS certification will find this position rewarding and aligned with career progression within the hospitality sector. Job Duties

  • Take food and beverage orders and place orders in the point of service system
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Set and clear tables in dining areas
  • Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws
  • Pick up orders from food preparation areas and ensure food is prepared accordingly
  • Prepare guest check and if appropriate complete payment transaction
  • Perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending and bussing in the event of staff shortages or peak periods
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
