Job Description
Hospitality House Management (HHM) is a reputable company in the hospitality sector, specializing in delivering exceptional food and beverage service experiences within upscale hotel environments. With its commitment to sustainability and guest satisfaction, HHM integrates EarthView practices into its operations to ensure environmentally responsible service. The company fosters a culture that values people as its greatest capability, emphasizing hearts that serve, striving for only excellence, and encouraging agility and accountability in its workforce. HHM offers competitive wages and a range of benefits for its employees, nurturing their professional growth through structured career pathways and professional development opportunities.
The role of Food and Beverage Server at HHM is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to provide excellent service to guests. This position offers a starting wage of $16.90 per hour and serves as the frontline face of the dining experience, directly interacting with guests to ensure their satisfaction. Food and Beverage Servers are responsible for taking and delivering orders accurately and courteously, maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of dining areas, and ensuring that all service standards are met in accordance with HHM's brand and hotel guest service requirements. Employees in this role will have the chance to develop their skills and advance their careers along a well-defined path that can lead from Restaurant Supervisor or Banquet Server positions to Captain, Restaurant Manager, and Banquet Manager roles.
As part of their daily responsibilities, servers are expected to skillfully use point of service (POS) systems for order placement and payment processing, maintain well-stocked service stations, and assist in other food and beverage functions such as bartending and bussing during peak periods or staff shortages. This role also emphasizes the importance of safety, requiring adherence to safe work habits including the use of protective equipment and compliance with MSDS and OSHA standards. Additionally, servers contribute to improving guest satisfaction scores, demonstrating a commitment to superior service.
The work environment involves a dynamic schedule that may include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts, requiring physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform duties such as lifting, bending, and reaching. HHM provides a supportive atmosphere with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k matching, travel discounts, commuter benefits, and wellness programs. The company also understands the importance of work-life balance and offers an employee assistance program and referral bonus incentives.
This position is an excellent fit for individuals with previous food and beverage experience or equivalent training, those familiar with POS systems, and those who hold or are willing to obtain TIPS certification. This role not only offers an immediate opportunity to join a respected hospitality company but also promises ongoing professional growth and a chance to contribute positively to HHM's mission and values.
