The role of Restaurant Server at HHM Hotels is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry and providing outstanding customer service. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for taking and placing food and beverage orders, attending to guests' needs throughout their dining experience, maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining area, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

This role not only involves direct interaction with guests but also requires teamwork, multitasking, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards, including compliance with MSDS and OSHA regulations. Servers at HHM Hotels play a pivotal role in creating memorable dining experiences that encourage repeat visits. The position also offers growth opportunities, with a clear career pathway leading from Restaurant Server to supervisory and management roles such as Restaurant Supervisor, Banquet Server, Captain, Restaurant Manager, and Banquet Manager.

  • Knowledge of POS systems

Job Duties

  • Take food and beverage orders and place orders in the point of service system
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Set and clear tables in dining areas
  • Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws
  • Pick up orders from food preparation areas and ensure food is prepared accordingly
  • Prepare guest check and if appropriate complete payment transaction
  • Perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending and bussing in the event of staff staffing shortages or peak periods
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
