We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Servers to join our amazing team. This position requires individuals who are approachable, attentive, and passionate about hospitality. The Restaurant Server role is essential in creating an exceptional dining experience by providing friendly, responsive service to all guests. Servers play a key role in ensuring guests feel comfortable and well cared for, leading to repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth. Employees in this role will report directly to the restaurant manager and must possess strong communication skills, including the ability to understand and speak the predominant language(s) used by our diverse guests.
The role involves a comprehensive understanding of dining room and service protocols, with the ability to handle money confidently and operate a point-of-sale system efficiently. Physical stamina is important, as servers will be required to stand for extended periods (up to five hours) and safely carry trays weighing between 20 to 25 pounds frequently throughout their shifts. This position typically requires weekend and holiday availability, aligning with the restaurant’s hours of operation and customer flow.
As a valued member of our team, you will engage in various tasks such as welcoming guests warmly, offering menu knowledge and recommendations, accurately processing orders, and delivering food and beverages promptly. Servers also perform side work duties to maintain cleanliness and organization within their service stations before and after shifts. Additionally, they monitor guest satisfaction levels and respond courteously to any requests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 5 hours)
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to understand and communicate in the predominant language(s) of guests
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
- Maintain clean service areas
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience
- Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change if applicable
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise
- Be ready and willing to assist busperson with clearing and resetting tables
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
