Top Dawg Tavern is a well-established family-owned and operated casual dining restaurant known for its welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Established in 2013, the restaurant has expanded to six locations across the southeast, including Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. This growth reflects the establishment's commitment to providing excellent food and service in a clean, family-friendly environment where guests can enjoy both lunch and dinner daily. Open seven days a week, Top Dawg Tavern prides itself on delivering high-quality dining experiences to its customers with a focus on community and customer satisfaction.
The restaurant is currently seeking to expand its front-of-house team by hiring additional Servers and Waitstaff. This role is crucial as servers are the face of Top Dawg Tavern, providing guests with an outstanding dining experience. The restaurant encourages candidates with a positive attitude, whether experienced or not, as they offer training to help new team members succeed. This is a part-time role best suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy interacting with customers. Servers at Top Dawg Tavern are responsible for taking accurate orders, delivering food and beverages, offering menu recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in customer service or restaurant roles preferred
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a restaurant server, waiter, wait staff, runner, restaurant crew member, restaurant team member, customer service, or other part time FOH restaurant job is highly desirable
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Basic math skills for handling payments
Job Duties
- Be the face of Top Dawg Tavern and answer any questions customers may have about menu items, daily features and beverage options
- Take and serve food and beverage orders
- Make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Issue bills to customers at end of their meal and accept payment
