Currently, Esplanade at Madeira Ranch is excited to announce the launch of The Barrel House Bistro, a brand-new restaurant and bar that is set to become a cornerstone of social and dining experiences within the community. To support this new venture, the community is hiring restaurant servers to join the opening team. This role is pivotal in setting the tone for hospitality and service excellence at the Bistro. Servers are responsible for crafting memorable dining experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests. As part of a dynamic and growing team, servers at The Barrel House Bistro will not only take orders and serve food and beverages but also act as ambassadors of the community’s welcoming atmosphere. The role requires weekend availability to accommodate peak operating hours. It offers competitive pay ranging from 17 to 19 dollars per hour, plus tips, shift meals, and opportunities for professional growth within a community-focused hospitality setting. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- Food safety and sanitation training
- Alcohol awareness training
- Ability to read and speak English
- Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Weekend availability required

Job Duties
- Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating
- Describes daily specials to guests
- Answers questions regarding menu items and offers suggestions when appropriate
- Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food promptly after preparation
- Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Replenishes items as needed
- Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests
- Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties
- Is accountable for checks and cash transactions
- Utilizes the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
- Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniques
- Practices tray service for all food and beverage service
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
