The role of Server at Halcyon House is integral to enhancing the dining experience and overall quality of life for residents. As a Server, you will be greeting guests warmly, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering meals to the dining area. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Capability to handle physical demands such as standing and carrying trays
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
  • Willingness to complete a pre-hire health assessment and drug screen
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with senior residents
  • Attention to detail in food presentation and service
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and evenings
  • Basic knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs of elderly individuals

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and take food and beverage orders
  • Deliver food from kitchen to dining area

  • Ensure food is presented appealingly and healthfully
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents
  • Perform shift duties such as delivering racks of cups, rolling silverware, bussing tables
