The role of a server at our restaurant is both rewarding and exciting. Servers can make up to $55 an hour with tips, reflecting the substantial opportunity for earning through attentive and personable service. This position is available as both full-time and part-time, offering flexibility to fit various schedules. Servers are the frontline representatives of our establishment, responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest has an impeccable experience from the moment they walk in until they leave. The ideal candidates are energetic, attentive, and committed to providing a high-quality dining experience. They maintain professionalism while being warm and welcoming, ensuring guests feel important and comfortable throughout their visit.
The server role involves a variety of duties, including providing accurate order taking, suggesting menu items through positive suggestive selling techniques, and ensuring all food safety and service standards are met. Servers are expected to manage multiple tables efficiently, maintain cleanliness through bussing and setting tables, and contribute to the overall ambiance by upholding health and safety standards. Being punctual and managing tasks effectively are mandatory aspects of this job, along with following cash handling policies and completing opening and closing side-work on time.
Additionally, servers must have a sound knowledge of all food, liquor, beer, wine, and retail offerings to provide guests with informed recommendations. Responsibilities also include checking identification for alcoholic beverage purchases to ensure compliance with legal age requirements and responsible alcohol service. The role requires physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and carrying up to 35 lbs, which necessitates stamina and endurance, especially during busy shifts.
This position demands clear written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a passion for excellent customer service. Candidates should hold a valid Food Handlers Card and comply with all local, state, and federal liquor laws. Previous experience as a table-side food server or in a customer service-related role is preferred, and fluency in English is necessary for effective communication. Open availability on weekends is required, with a minimum commitment of three shifts per week.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide the perfect service experience for every guest
