Job Requirements
- Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- A valid Food Handlers Card
- Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Open availability on the weekend
- Minimum of 3 shifts a week
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to carry up to 35 lbs
- Stamina for busy shifts
- Punctuality and task management
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of one-year experience as a table-side food server
- Any related customer service oriented experience will be considered
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food
- Ability to handle payments and make correct change
- Ability to comprehend and communicate in fluent English
- Valid Food Handlers Card
- Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws
- Ability to work in a team environment
- A passion for providing customers with high-quality service
Job Duties
- Provide the perfect service experience for every guest
- Ensure the guest feels important and welcome in the restaurant
- Maintain a friendly, attentive attitude
- Check identification to ensure customers are the proper age to purchase alcoholic beverages
- Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold
- Adhere to timing standards for products and services
- Look for ways to consolidate service and increase table turns
- Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage
- Serve the guest in an accommodating manner
- Know all food liquor, beer, wine and retail offered
- Use positive suggestive sales approach to guide guests
- Ability to multitask efficiently to manage multiple tables and tasks
- Pre-bus tables
- maintain table cleanliness, bus tables
- Look for ways to avoid waste and limit costs
- Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
- Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
- Deliver food and beverages to any table as needed
- Follow all cash handling policies and procedures
- Report to property on time and in proper uniform
- Thoroughly complete opening and closing side-work in a timely manner
