Job Requirements

  • Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • A valid Food Handlers Card
  • Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Open availability on the weekend
  • Minimum of 3 shifts a week
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to carry up to 35 lbs
  • Stamina for busy shifts
  • Punctuality and task management

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of one-year experience as a table-side food server
  • Any related customer service oriented experience will be considered
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food
  • Ability to handle payments and make correct change
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate in fluent English
  • Valid Food Handlers Card
  • Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • A passion for providing customers with high-quality service

Job Duties

  • Provide the perfect service experience for every guest
  • Ensure the guest feels important and welcome in the restaurant
  • Maintain a friendly, attentive attitude
  • Check identification to ensure customers are the proper age to purchase alcoholic beverages
  • Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold
  • Adhere to timing standards for products and services
  • Look for ways to consolidate service and increase table turns
  • Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage
  • Serve the guest in an accommodating manner
  • Know all food liquor, beer, wine and retail offered
  • Use positive suggestive sales approach to guide guests
  • Ability to multitask efficiently to manage multiple tables and tasks
  • Pre-bus tables
  • maintain table cleanliness, bus tables
  • Look for ways to avoid waste and limit costs
  • Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
  • Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
  • Deliver food and beverages to any table as needed
  • Follow all cash handling policies and procedures
  • Report to property on time and in proper uniform
  • Thoroughly complete opening and closing side-work in a timely manner
