The role of Prep Cook/Dishwasher at The Golf Club at Newcastle, specifically within the Calcutta Grill dining establishment, is a vital position responsible for maintaining kitchen hygiene and assisting in food preparation. It is a hands-on role that demands attention to detail, dedication to cleanliness, and a willingness to learn culinary skills. Team members in this role will be responsible for operating dishwashing machinery, cleaning all kitchen work areas and equipment including pots, pans, trays, and refrigerators, as well as performing routine tasks like sweeping and mopping floors. The position also involves waste management duties such as separating and removing trash and garbage while ensuring that garbage cans are regularly washed or steam-cleaned.

Job Duties
- Operate the dishwashing machine

- transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- maintain effective communication with fellow team members
