Job Description

Whataburger is a beloved American fast-food chain known for its iconic burgers and commitment to quality and customer service. Founded in 1950, Whataburger has grown from a single burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, to a nationally recognized brand with a strong presence in multiple states. The company prides itself on its distinctive orange-and-white striped buildings, made-to-order burgers, and community-focused culture. Whataburger is much more than just a restaurant; it is a family-oriented organization that values teamwork, employee growth, and giving back to the communities it serves. The company has built a reputation for supporting future leaders and entrepreneurs through partnerships with educational and veteran organizations, including the National Federation of State High School Associations and RecruitMilitary. Whataburger strives to create an inclusive workplace that welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds, including retirees, teens, veterans, and professionals seeking part-time or full-time opportunities.

The role of Restaurant Team Member at Whataburger offers a vibrant, dynamic work environment where each shift is an adventure filled with teamwork, laughter, and the satisfaction of serving craveable food to customers. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy contributing to a positive team atmosphere. Team Members at Whataburger are the secret ingredient that helps make every meal memorable and every customer experience exceptional. Whataburger provides flexible schedules to accommodate a variety of lifestyles, with options ranging from day, night, evening, to overnight shifts. Employees have the opportunity to earn competitive weekly pay and benefit from a suite of incentives designed to support personal and professional growth. These benefits include a scholarship program, paid time off, wireless service discounts, and fitness or gym discounts. The company also offers health benefits like medical, dental, and vision insurance to eligible Team Members. Whataburger’s culture emphasizes recognition and rewards, providing awards for outstanding performance and a retirement celebration program.

This role opens the door to sky-high career growth with a clear path to leadership positions, including the possibility of becoming an Operating Partner, where incomes can reach six figures. As a Restaurant Team Member, you will gain valuable skills such as customer service, teamwork, and operational knowledge within a nationally recognized brand. Whataburger is committed to equal opportunity employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, veteran status, age, or any other status protected by law. The company participates in the federal E-Verify Program to ensure employment eligibility. If you enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative work environment with rewarding benefits and potential for growth, Whataburger is the place for you.
