Job Duties
- Maintains all utensils and food production equipment in good working order by using proper cleaning, sharpening, and storage procedures
- Performs maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned
- Demonstrates knowledge of utilization of the Kaivac Univac for mopping, scrubbing, and drying floors in the kitchen, restrooms, and dining rooms
- Learns and applies the correct location for all items stored and used, including food products, paper products, and cleaning supplies
- Mops spills or leaks quickly to prevent accidents
- Demonstrates knowledge of proper handling and storage of all sanitizing and cleaning chemicals
- Cleans customer service areas following proper procedures, including outside landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables, condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units
- Follows proper procedures for maintaining sidewalks and parking lot sanitation, including sweeping and scrubbing
- Notifies management of any leaks or equipment failures such as refrigerators or freezers not maintaining proper temperatures
- Disposes of all trash properly
