Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to submit to and pass a background check
  • must be able to obtain a Seattle Airport Red Badge
  • ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to kneel, bend, and stoop for extended periods
  • comfort working with chemicals
  • ability to work in noisy, hot, cold, or humid environments
  • frequently immerse hands in water and chemical solutions
  • ability to reliably commute or relocate before starting work

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to submit to and pass a background check
  • ability to obtain a Seattle Airport Red Badge
  • experience using janitorial or kitchen equipment such as floor scrubbers and dish machines
  • knowledge of recycling and waste sorting practices
  • ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • comfortable working with chemicals and understanding basic safety procedures
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
  • willingness to take directions and assist wherever needed

Job Duties

  • Safely lift and move beer kegs
  • change out kegs and assist bar staff with setup and maintenance
  • clean, mop floors, and organize the keg room
  • clean and dump the beer overspill container multiple times daily
  • clean under the bar area and all related surfaces
  • clean out all bar drains
  • sweep, mop, and sanitize floors regularly
  • take out trash and recycling
  • assist with kitchen cleaning including walls and fridges
  • stock and rotate inventory using FIFO methods
  • organize and restock bar, kitchen, and service stations
  • assist with checking deliveries and storing items
  • assist barbacks and kitchen staff with setup and breakdown before and after service
  • monitor and report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns
  • respond to urgent requests from staff during service hours
