The Restaurant Operator at Costa Vida plays a vital role in managing all facets of the restaurant’s operations, including leading both front-of-house and back-of-house team members, working closely with shift leads and assistant general managers, and reporting directly to the district manager. This hands-on position requires strong leadership skills combined with operational expertise to ensure the restaurant meets its financial and customer service goals. Training is conducted at Costa Vida’s Support Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, providing a thorough introduction to company standards and operational best practices. The position is located in either Gilbert, Arizona, or Forney, Texas, and requires a commitment of at least 50 hours per week to maintain high standards and oversee a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities of the role include developing and implementing recruitment strategies, conducting performance evaluations, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The operator is also responsible for driving sales through local marketing initiatives, analyzing sales and market trends, and maintaining product quality to enhance guest satisfaction. Operational responsibilities involve efficient labor cost management, financial stewardship including budgeting and cost control, as well as inventory and supplier relationship management.

This position demands an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team. Job Requirements
