The Restaurant Operations Manager at Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of multiple dining outlets within the property. This individual plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional customer service experience, maintaining high standards for food quality, appearance, and service delivery. The Manager will collaborate closely with the Food Operations Team and Beverage Department to administer controls that maintain profitability and operational standards. Taking charge of staffing and scheduling, this position ensures adequate personnel coverage to meet guest demands and service excellence. Additionally, the Restaurant Operations Manager is responsible for setting up and managing equipment logistics, developing and administering standard operating procedures, conducting staff trainings, and overseeing corrective discipline measures when necessary.
The role requires a dynamic leader who can analyze food and beverage profit-and-loss statements and implement strategies to optimize financial outcomes. This position also involves counseling and guiding front-line staff to perform their duties effectively while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. The Manager plays an instrumental role in performance management by preparing and coordinating periodic reviews and modeling behaviors that exemplify Caesars' core values: "Blaze the Trail," "Together We Win," and "All-In on Service." Job Requirements
- College degree in hospitality or business management preferred
- Minimum five years of experience in the food service industry
- At least two years of experience in banquet and catering function
- Strong managerial skills
- Knowledge of banquet services and sales
- Knowledge of food cost and labor analysis
- Ability to train and motivate personnel
- Ability to communicate well among staff both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications

- Five years of experience in food service industry with a minimum two years in banquet and catering functions
Job Duties
- Manages the execution and detailing of all food operation functions to ensure delivery of an exceptional customer service experience
- Manages and oversees the daily operations of restaurants
- Analyzes and evaluates food and beverage management and profit and loss statement information to determine alternate courses of action
- Monitors proper staffing levels in order to provide high standards of service
- Monitors appearance of food served and communicates deviations from standard
- Responsible for the administration of controls in all of the managed areas to ensure economical and profitable established standards are maintained
- Co-manages the Food Operations Team in conjunction with the Beverage Department
- Responsible for ensuring the proper movement and set-up of all equipment needed
- Responsible for the creation and administering of standard procedures, trainings, and corrective discipline
- Assigns daily tasks to staff to ensure successful guest experiences
- Counsels, guides and instructs personnel in the proper performance of their duties
- Maintains and instructs assigned personnel on safety policies and procedures and follows up to ensure that hazards are eliminated
- Prepares and coordinates the periodic performance reviews of assigned personnel
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars
