Job Description

Cowboy Chicken is a renowned restaurant brand famous for its bold flavors and authentic wood-fired rotisserie chicken. Known for its dedication to quality and distinctive taste, Cowboy Chicken offers a menu that appeals to every member of the family, including rotisserie breast Ranch Hand sandwiches, chicken tenders and wings, farm fresh salads, chicken enchiladas, and chef-inspired Bolero Bowls. Complemented by home-style sides such as twice-baked potatoes, spicy Ranchero beans, and homemade peach cobbler, Cowboy Chicken delivers an unmatched culinary experience. Operating with a unique 'cowboy cool' culture, the brand emphasizes warmth, comfort, and exceptional guest service in every location. It offers various dining options including dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering services tailored to customer convenience and satisfaction.

The role of Restaurant Operations Manager at Cowboy Chicken comes with full accountability for overseeing daily restaurant operations, focusing on sales growth, profitability, and outstanding guest experiences. The successful candidate will lead by example to build and develop a high-performing, customer-focused team through continuous training, performance management, and accountability measures. This position requires strong leadership with experience in managing all operational, banking, and administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant management. The manager will also maintain brand standards related to food quality, cleanliness, and service to uphold the company’s reputation.

This role necessitates a hands-on, results-driven leader with a robust understanding of profit and loss (P&L) management, cost controls including labor, food, and inventory, and the ability to implement effective action plans to meet or exceed financial targets. You will be responsible for recruitment and retention of top talent, scheduling, compliance with operational standards and local, state, and federal regulations covering health, labor, safety, and more. A key part of the job includes resolving guest concerns promptly and fostering positive customer relationships that encourage loyalty. Additional responsibilities include supporting local marketing efforts and community engagement initiatives to boost brand awareness and sales.

Cowboy Chicken values accountability, operational excellence, and a dedication to creating memorable guest experiences. The Restaurant Operations Manager is expected to embody these values at all times while representing the company professionally. Compensation starts at $65,000 annually, and the role is full-time, requiring availability for 10-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays. This position also offers attractive benefits including paid time off, employee discounts, and paid training. Candidates should be prepared to complete management training and operational certifications post-hire and must satisfy Cowboy Chicken's driving standards and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Joining Cowboy Chicken means becoming part of a passionate, fired-up team committed to delivering excellence in the fast-paced restaurant industry. If you are a motivated leader eager to take ownership and drive performance, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow with a respected and beloved brand dedicated to culinary quality and outstanding service.
