Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior restaurant management experience
  • proven leadership abilities
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work mornings and early afternoons
  • food safety certification or willingness to obtain
  • basic computer literacy
  • ability to handle urgent situations calmly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior management experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • strong leadership and coaching skills

  • knowledge of food safety standards

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • familiarity with restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • proficiency in administrative and financial duties

Job Duties

  • Learn and support the You First culture and core values
  • put supervisory skills to work to ensure daily operations run according to plan and high standards
  • ensure recipes are followed accurately
  • understand and work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • coach and observe the First Watch Five Steps of Service implemented at every table
  • apply the background and principles of the 10 Commitments in daily operations
  • respond promptly and effectively to customer and employee concerns
  • communicate and take ownership of repair and maintenance issues
  • achieve and coach food safety certification and safe food handling practices
  • continuously scout for and interview candidates to join the team
  • secure company assets including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment
  • understand key responsibilities of every restaurant position
  • enforce appropriate behavior and investigate as needed
  • train, coach, and develop team members daily
  • recognize exceptional performance
  • manage daily revenues and deposits
  • complete administrative duties and submit required paperwork on time
