Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of restaurant management experience
  • Food safety certification required
  • Ability to work morning shifts with no night shifts
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous management experience in restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and certification
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of financial and operational metrics in restaurant management
  • Commitment to customer service excellence

Job Duties

  • Learn and support the You First culture and core values
  • Put supervisory skills to work ensuring high standards in daily operations
  • Follow and enforce recipe and food quality standards
  • Understand and work to exceed restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • Coach and observe the First Watch Five Steps of Service at every table
  • Implement the 10 Commitments in daily operations
  • Respond promptly to customer and employee concerns
  • Communicate and manage repair and maintenance issues
  • Maintain certification in food safety and coach team on safe food handling
  • Recruit and interview candidates to join the team
  • Secure company assets including computers and security systems
  • Understand and oversee key responsibilities of every restaurant position
  • Address and investigate inappropriate behavior promptly
  • Train, coach, and develop team members continuously
  • Recognize and reward outstanding performance
  • Manage daily revenues and deposits
  • Complete administrative duties and paperwork on time
